Q. “I was wondering, my partner and I, like you and Greg, split the responsibilities of the business. She with the speaking and selling, I with the logistics and event management. Is it possible for us to kind of split the membership into the relevant content for each of us? I would not take away as much from speaker training content as my partner would and she not as much from business structure as I would. Hope to hear from you soon.”
A. The classes in the mentoring program divided into modules. You can get into the management part of it and your partner might be interested in Marketing, however you both might want to join webinars. There’s more than enough useful information for the two of you to get your teeth into.
Q. Please let me know when the live aspects of the various training opportunities are scheduled.
A. The “Blueprint in Action” webinar series will start in the second week of August. It will be held Tuesday and Thursdays for 4 weeks. (8 trainings in total). The “Sales Letters That Put Bums in Seats” TeleTraining with Pete Godfrey will be the first week of August- looking like the Wednesday. I have to wait to hear time from Pete. All these live trainings will be recorded and available for you if (a) you miss them or (b) you want to review them. What time zone are you in?

Q. I am not presently speaking. I am doing one-on-one coaching / healing low key at home at present. Have a number of programmes I have designed but not implented as such, a half written book / internet resource and ….. I have not long come out of a marriage with kids, car and no money! Know I will be on the international stage one day. Know my material is good. Pretty much focussed at present on body / mind connection – LOVE principles. Guess what I am asking is even if I haven’t got the resources 100% completed as yet and with no money, is there a way to get started and get some momentum?
A. Absolutely! The program has been designed to help people go from a few random projects and getting their “Elegant Business Model” together. Plus working toward a presentation that will get you more clients. It’s probably actually better if you don’t have them completed because then you can finish them in the best way to support your over all business. We have one member in Perth, Australia who has a 6 month old baby and is working through the resources in her own time around family commitments. Angie is loving the power calls coz it means she gets all her business support without actually having to leave home! Does that help?
Q. I am a GP and Naturopath in Melbourne who does some public speaking. I have written a book “How To Live To 100 and Love It!” and produced 3 therapeutic CDs – sleep, relaxation and study skills. Sales after a talk are minimal. My concern is that to give a “no brainer” offer to audience members at Rotary or Probus that I need some high priced items to offer as bonuses. Consultations here get a Medicare rebate for 50% of the cost. The book is self published and sold for $30.00. Each CD is $20.00. What can I offer at a high price to help the offer? Sales people for marketing, business can put a value of $1500 on their consultations. I don’t believe I can.
A. Hi! Great question. Your bonus doesn’t need to be that high priced- it’s more about overwhleming people with value. The question to ask is what do your target audience really want. We could brainstorm this in one of your power calls when you join the program. There’s a technique in eclass 3 called the Magic Wand techniqe which will help you cme up with bonuses. And webinar 6 in the Blueprint in action series is going to help loads too.
Q. How esle can I sell my book and CDs. Currently I give the book away free to new clients.
A. there are loads of ways we can sell the books and cds. it would need to fit in with the overall strategy of where your business is heading. Best for you is to talk with Joanna through in a power call. The main thing to do first is build your list of subscribers… then the strategies are easy!
Q. How is Joey going to be teaching us? Is there hands on from her or is it all email and teleseminars?
A. You’re lucky- Joanna is hosting the “Blueprint in Action” webinar series live with the new Silver Mentoring Program members. You will have the opportunity to ask Joanna specific and targetted questions during that sereis.
Also- the monthly interviews and Hot Seats always have a live componenet with Joanna to address specific members concerns and issues.
Lastly, in terms of “specific-to-you” guidance, you have your 25 x 10 minutes power calls with Joanna or one of the Shift Implementation Coaches. In these you can brainstorm, troubleshoot, get a kick up the bum- whatever you need!
